The Link Builder tool is designed to help you instantly identify your best link prospects - and build a linking campaign that exponentially grows your online presence. And here we explain the different parts of the Link Builder interface.

1.1 Analyze links – this is the page where you’ll do your initial research to find link prospects.
1.2 Keyword box – enter any keyword and we’ll search Google and analyze the links for the top 10 results.
1.3 URL box – enter from 1 to up to 100 URLs and Link Builder will count the linking domains and inbound links to each.
1.4 Analyze Links button – click the button and we’ll search our database of 1.8 trillion links.
1.5 Results – summarizes the domains that link to the URLs you have entered or the top 10 results on Google for the keyword you have entered.
1.6 URL – lists the URLs that have been analyzed (you can click to visit the URL).
1.7 Linking domains – gives the number of linking domains that we have found for each URL.
1.8 Inbound links – gives the total number of links from all the linking domains we have found (one domain could provide 1000 inbound links).
1.9 Show links – click to see up to 1000 linking domains together with the ‘top link’ from each.

2.1 Sites linking to parkerpen.com – this tells you how many domains are shown in the set of results.
2.2 Linking domain (and selector) - this column shows the domains linking to the URL you are analyzing: select the domain and you can add it to a campaign.
2.3 Page containing top link - this column shows the ‘best’ link from that domain to the URL you are analyzing ie, the one with the highest rank. By clicking on the link you will be taken to the web page on which the link sits.
2.4 Rank - this column shows the rank of the linking domain - the higher up the list (instead of higher the rank), the more valuable a link from that domain is likely to be.
2.5 Filter – allows you to filter based on the letters in the URL of the ‘top link’. For example you could filter on ‘.edu’, ‘.org’ or ‘blog’, ‘news’ or ‘article’. When you apply the filter, you’ll see only URLs that ‘contain’ or ‘does not contain’ your choice.
2.6 Save selection to campaign – you can save sites you want a link from in a campaign with a name of your choice. So you might have a blog campaign, a directory campaign and so on. You can access your saved campaign by clicking on ‘My Campaigns’ on the top menu bar.

3.1 Campaign - you can save sites you want a link from in a campaign with a name of your choice. Click on ‘My Campaigns' to see the ones you’ve created, click on the campaign of your choice and you’ll see a screen like the one above. Link Builder will tell you how many link prospects are in the campaign and how many you have contacted.
3.2 Link prospect– domains that you’ve previously selected become link prospects ie, sites you’re going to approach for a link.
3.3 Notes - you can make your own notes about the link prospect you have found and any actions you have taken.
3.4 Status – there are four status options at the moment - ‘not contacted’, ‘contacted’, ‘linking’ and ‘rejected’.
3.5 Edit – click on the edit link to make notes or change the status.
