How to craft the perfect accessible email [infographic]

Accessiblity removes barriers to reading your emails, especially for those with disabilities, and ensures your campaigns are logical, well structured and usable for all.

According to the World Health Organization, one billion people worldwide are living with some form of disability. 

Today there are advanced techologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers and eye tracking systems which make websites and emails more accessible. However, there's a lot you can do in the way you structure and design your emails to make sure your campaigns are accessible to all.

For example, did you know adding a full stop after your alt text is helpful as it can make screen readers pause before continuing with the rest of the email?

This infographic from email design company Email Monks outlines best practice in terms of content creation, styling and structure and also includes tools to test accessibility levels.
