Podcasts attract the educated and relatively better off sections of society and listeners spend an average of 6 hours and 37 minutes listening to podcasts every week.
Coupled with this growth has been an exponential increase in ad revenue - from $69 million in 2015, to $314 million in 2017 and forecast at $659 million for 2020.
