Many Wordtracker users never use the project-management tools…if you rent Wordtracker for a day, for instance, and work on a single keyword list, you won’t need the project-management tools.
However, if you want to work on multiple keyword lists, and have Wordtracker save them for future use, you need to understand Wordtracker’s very simple project-management tools.
Note that each project contains one or two keyword lists; the standard Wordtracker list, derived from the database of searches done through MetaCrawler.com and DogPile.com, and/or a list of words from the Overture database, if you chose to search through that system.
Important: Wordtracker keeps your keyword projects for six months after your account expires. If you re-subscribe to Wordtracker within six months of your account expiring (using the same account name of course), you’ll find the keyword lists are still there.
Wordtracker’s project-management tools let you…
Keep up to seven different keyword lists at any time
Assign a name to each project
Select the project you want to work with currently
Empty the keyword list
Import keywords into the list
Export keywords from the list
