Sorry to point this out, but shouldn't the sentence "A good way of doing this is though an opinion piece." read "A good way of doing this is through an opinion piece."?

You're quite right, and you'll find that it's now correct. Thanks for pointing it out, Alexander!

This is about the 6th or 7th time I've come across Julie's articles online and I can again say she is an excellent writer.
Being a semi-retired broadcaster/journalist as well as a substitute high school English teacher I seem to always critique writer's and newscasts without really intending to do so. You might be surprised to know how many grammatical and factual mistakes a person catches within a typical tv or radio newscast. (And within so-called major markets!) Such things remind me how dependent tv news is upon "eye candy" as anchors as opposed to genuine newspeople.
Back to Julie, I simply find myself absorbed in everything she writes; somehow each reading I become aware of how "soft" her writing style is and yet with a full message contained which I easily understand and absorb.
Julie, "wordtracker" would be an apt online screen name for you!
Continued success and I look forward to more writings,
Fiftysumthin
I would appreciate some more written on how to include conversations in articles. All we have in our business is conversations as we provide Chat based customer support. We produce thousands of conversations a day. I have been thinking of starting a blog/newsletter with articles on "Chat conversations dissected" and "conversations mapped" with our Chat Methodology, which is the basis of how we conduct and control our conversations with web visitors and also do quality control/grading.
But i am still struggling with one thing, how to come up with interesting articles written around Chat Conversations on a constant basis, that would keep business owner interested in the blog.
Perhaps I am onto a good thing designing my web endeavours around the following quote:
"Goodness is the only investment that never fails."
(Henry David Thoreau 1817-1862)
While I enjoyed this article, Lewis Carroll's name is always spelled the same way! As you peruse your article, you incorrectly have it as Carole several times. If you're using inspirational quotes (or any other writing for that matter) always proofread your copy before putting it online!!

bostonkayakguy - that is indeed unforgivable - duly amended and will try harder next time. Fiftysumthin - I wish I could claim that I wrote the articles, but Rachelle's the one responsible for the great articles. Thanks!
This is the first article I have read from Wordtracker Newsletters, and what a brilliant way to start.
The artice is delightful. Not only does it contain great content, Rachelle writes the material in a similar style used in Alice in Wonderland itself - crisp and engaging.
I look forward to the rest of the Newsletter for more of your articles.
I agree with Rachelle, a good quote can do a lot. My mother used to say, when she was talking about liars, 'he only tells the truth when a lie won't fit! Think about it!

Thanks for the article Rachelle! What a great refresher and ideas for my own website. I too, would like more information on how to include more conversations in articles.
An interesting way to start the imagination to write. Little things tick in one's head every day -- a comment, a beautiful tree, something in the news - thanks for tying this inspiration to the grunt work of learning how to use SEO!
Rachelle, you have written a great article. I'm currently crafting a blog concerning many different variables surrounding online customer service. The blog will tie back to my company which provides live support chat operators for hire. Thank you for the great ideas!
Rachelle, I love your article. Part of the reason is that I love quotes too and have used them in articles (though more often as articles focusing around groups of themed quotes with my commentary.
You've given me a whole new idea of how I can write articles around quotes. And, best of all -- you've modelled it perfectly for us right here!

Great idea to use quotes from even children's books! There are plenty of those and the classics are familiar to most everyone.
I like this too:
"He told me to write everything down and to absorb what I saw and felt."
That fact alone would help us in our writing.

May be you can help
