Link Builder already creates ready-made strategies for you.

This is a great focus for effective link building.

But you can also create your own custom campaigns through filtering and tagging.

Let’s look at an organic food project.

Strategies

While scanning the prospects, I found this article on Inhabitat.com that linked to Wholefoodmarkets.com:

Inhabitat

This suggests there is a niche for green products and that's easy to confirm.

Click on filter.

Filter

Choose 'Top link contains.'

Filter green

And enter ‘green’ and hit apply.

Link Builder finds 233 prospects.

Select the first 100 prospects and tag them with a name of your choice.

Green sites

I’ll use ‘green sites’ here and click OK.

100 prospects are now saved ...

Green tags

... and you can access them just by clicking on the tag.

You’ll probably go on to save all 233, but for this video, I’ll just show another example:

Moms.

Mom sites

Or dot orgs.

So Link Builder has allowed you to create your own custom campaigns by filtering, selecting, tagging and saving prospects.

You can also filter by:

  • Anchor text
  • Rank
  • Co-link count
  • Follow and no-follow and so on ...

Experiment with your own campaigns and see what custom strategies you can create.
