The simplicity of Twitter is what makes it so great. I have to admit, my first thought was 'What's so good about this?' but when you start playing around with it and get in the mix with some interesting people, you see the wealth of opportunities it presents. Message me @thomasbaugh
There is no question about it Twitter is definitely the coolest social platform since sliced bread. I use it for business and networking and have had extremely positive results with it over the short few months that I have been using it. Every business that is serious about business should be using it but it's also good for personal networking.
There is so much buz going around about twitter. I joined two days ago and to be totally honest, I don't get it. The idea seems too shallow and the site really holds little substance.
I set up something called a "Twitter Feed" for two of my blogs. If you Google the term you will find it. What it does is automatically feed your Twitter friends with your latest blog post.
Hi, I'm new to the world of blogging and to the term "Micro-blogging" I would like to use Twitter as a jumping off spot, but would it be worth my while? I am selling on my blog, but it's not my focus at the moment. I like to get used to blogging, and marketing before jumping in full time. I have my blog set up like a resturant, a menu of different things. I write most of them myself. I invite everyone over for a taste.
I've been a member of Twitter for more than a year now and it had helped me a lot in generating traffic to my sites...not only that but it also helped me found lots of great friends online.
I'm new in Twitter World and it's always good to find new tips. But I don't like tips as "500 followers for one day" or something similar. This is something real. Thanks man!
I have been on twitter for a couple of months now and I'm just beginning to see what a great tool it is. Lots of new friends, information and terrific ideas. This article has given me a much better understanding of what Twitter has to offer.
I'm new to twitter and I have to admit that I just can't see what the fuss is about and how it works. Clearly it does work so I'll keep at it. Great article by the way.

I have yet to really dive into Twitter, but my company is looking to join in and I've done quite a bit of research.
What I have found really interesting is just how business-friendly it is.
As long as it's NOT SPAM (!) and actually offers some good info and links, it's a great way to keep customers -- and even associates and other stakeholders -- updated quickly and easily, and to let people know who you are and what you do.
Very forward thinking business model they have over there, and I'm looking forward to doing it (since I'll be the guy doing all the work).
1.) Avoid the temptation to over-automate, like auto-following everyone who follows you. We only follow tweeps whose tweets we want to read.
2.) Follow the "thought leaders" and RT their tweets (you'll get their attention not by asking something of them, but by contributing something to them).
With website design and updates, blogging, and most especially client care and marketing, it's hard to find many Twitter time slots. I joined last week and was put off by some pretty weird characters who announced they were following me. I declined to reciprocate and decided to follow some of the thought leaders in word of mouth marketing and reputation management and see where that leads. I also read that Twitter is still searching for a business model that brings in some money. I still have my doubts that Twitter will be useful to me or my business.
First thought twitter was an avenue for flash fiction. Experimenting. Like it best when I'm otherwise occupied and feeling playful. Friendly, interesting people. More hands-on follow through. Such a daisy chain of linkage and occasional jewels.
What I like about Twitter is that you can be informal in your updates, and quickly make connections with people who share your interests. Those people can turn into friends, or leads... or both. It's a great way to integrate your social and business networks (yeah, I know this can be sort of messy and you can never be sure what will come of it... but this is true in real life too!). Just have a good time with it, and don't give up too fast; it does take some practice and experimentation before you figure out your own most productive uses of Twitter.
Great twittin info! lol, so many ways to drive traffic twitter is but another to impliment into your army of internet marketing weapons. Your tweet info was eye opening and very useful. Great links to check tweeks out and stuff. Of course, I'm @cirogamino. Follow me if you dare...lol
@dearnicholas - I am using twitter to build a like minded community of Enlightened Entrepreneurs, and launching my new project virally as well. This is a highly responsive community of users who freely share their tips and tactics for internet network marketing success. I have set up a twitter feed for an automatic daily summary of all my tweets, archived for easy reference and have seen multiple visitors from organic search as a result. Thanks for the great overview!
Great easy to read informative article with lots of useful tips and hints; also good explanations of the twitter terminology. Heard so much about it, but never used twitter before but now looking to give it a go!

What can't twitter do? Twitter has made it easy to stay current with information you may have never read. @chadwickosx

Twitter is gaining so much traction it will be very interesting to see where this goes in the next 6 - 12 months.

Twitter is reat, and we certainly use it in the Miami area for business updates.

I am slowly learning this twitter thing. Your post gave me a ton of info, that I feel will help me out in the long run. Thanks so much for the info.
