  1. We are currently trying to work out whether we should have a blog for our gift website - Spotty Boxes.

    Your comments on the importance of setting up a blog which meets the needs of your audience are helpful.

    Thanks

  2. I agree with Chris that networking fist is important because a community is more valuable. I would love to grow my blog, but a me-first attitude doesn't help. W can learn from one another and help each other out.

  3. Since I added a blog to my site iStylista.com the traffic has doubled within 2 months leading to double the income from selling our products. The key thing to remember when it comes to articles is keywords and phrases and finding those diamonds in the rough. I wholly believe that a corporate blog that reviews and talks about things related to the industry that you are in rather than what the CEO's dog ate for breakfast can take your traffic to new heights in months. Obviously the more you put in the more you get out...

  4. Mine is a personal blog that I started in the spring. At first I was shy about self-promotion, but gradually I am stepping forward, introducing my blog and asking outright for links in related gardening sites. Thanks for this interesting and helpful interview with Darren.

  5. I found this article very useful. The one tip on Chitika made my day. Having just started a blog like as in three days ago one of my big questions was how do I get traffic. Thank you so much the question is answered. Post, post and post more.

  7. Hey am just starting out and this article has said a lot. I see a light at the end of the tunnel.

    Thanks.

  8. Thank You for his article. I've just started blogging to create traffic to my site. From reading Darren/Garrett I see It's not about me but my audience. Can you put me on your email list so that I can learn how to blog successfully? If you keep writing like this I will certainly learn a bunch.One question-How do I blog about real estate investing without it being boring to my readers?

    Best Regards;

  9. Thanks for the article. It's pretty good. I especially like the "Content is king but just a funny guy in a hat without an army guarding him."

    I used to blog for personal reasons because I wanted to write, but then again I realized some people do like to read about what I have to say so why not monetize. It's not a lot of money true, but eventually the blog becomes a testament to your credibility so it's really quite cool.

  10. Thanks Chris for your highly informative insights into blogging. This has come at a time when i was pondering about how to make money through setting up my own blog. It really is an eye opener. God bless.

  11. George - please send through details of your email address to support@wordtracker.com and we'll add you to the newsletter mailing list with pleasure.

  12. Interesting article. This is an eye opener for me. I blog on my website, but too infrequently. This article made me conscious of two things. (1) That "blogging is a tactic" that brings an audience to your service. (2) You have to please that audience with not too many words. I will now blog differently!

  13. Thank you for reducing my fear factor. I am so new to internet marketing, I am finding it hard to focus, but getting there. One hard hurdle to overcome was the idea of blogging but I know have a much better idea of where to go and how to get there while maintaining my sanity. Thanks!
